Decked out in our 3-D glasses after seeing Alice In Wonderland. I’m not a big fan of 3-D movies, but with or without 3-D it was very cool.
There’s some very cool pics that my friend Jeff took while playing around with his new wide angle lens, but since they don’t fit in the rules of 365 Days I’ll just link to them here. But they’re super cool
Skillet killed it! First night of the Awake and Alive tour with Tobymac and it was awesome.
Each time we see them they manage to top the last show. If they keep it up, eventually heads will explode from so much rock
It was a beautiful day today. Sure only 39°, but completely clear and sunny.
Oh no, I did it again! No pic today. Ooops
Our last stop before heading home was the Statue of Liberty, of course a must see for anyone going to New York. But even more than just seeing the Statue up close, getting Crown access is so worth it.
It’s a 344 spiral stairstep climb to the top, with each stair getting smaller until you are in the tiny crown, which only holds 10 people at a time. Aside from being exhausted, it’s an amazing experience that only 240 people get to see each day.
If you ever visit in NYC make sure you book Crown access ahead of time, so worth it.
Since it’s so tiny up there I decided to go with this shot to actually see where we were
A walk through Chinatown in NYC is a riot. I didn’t realize until I heard a couple girls chuckling behind me, but standing at that corner, I was monsterous compared to everyone else.
At 6′4″ I was a good foot taller than almost everyone, so for good measure I had Marla take pictures of me walking down the sidewalk amongst everyone. They’d be fun “where’s waldo” shots…if it was actually tough to spot me
This pic isn’t one of those, obviously, I just liked it.
